Lots of changes going on at the Conover house.  We're getting ready for summer vacation - coming soon.  Don and I will be celebrating 13 years on May 27th, I'm on a juice fast, see www.FawnsJuiceFast.blogspot.com to learn more about that.  Don and I have a bet going to push each other to reach our goals.  Anyone want to join us?

Tonight's date night so I'll keep it short (Don's picking up a movie and pot stickers for us).  We took our family trip of the century a couple weeks ago.  I loaded up the kids and headed to Oregon to see my grandmother who was dieing of cancer.  We broke down twice on the way (in CA) and never made it to Oregon and my grandmother ended up dieing before we could get there anyway.  After the repairs to the Suburban, the hotel stays (among a lot of other little expenses) and the rental Don had to get to come get us.  We ended up paying nearly $4k for the worst trip we've ever taken.  I was beginning to think we were never going to get home.  But we're back now and our income is slowly, very slowly recovering - as am I.  One thing's for sure, unless we're going straight to the beach and back, I'll NEVER go through CA again - the roads are downright ridiculous!!  We did get a couple pictures of the kids near the beach just north of Santa Barbara.

A lot has happened in a year! We had another baby, her name is Sophia Michelle Conover. She was blessed two weeks ago. Most of the pictures were taken on Grandma Conover's camera so I need to get over there and download them for her so I can send them to myself. Sophie's dress was a gift from Grandma Colson - it was so pretty! Heather and Savanah argued over who "gets" to take her to class. I think if I took the dress off the argument wouldn't have been quite so heated! I have a facebook now and have been able to connect with a good number of family and friends I haven't seen or heard from in years - very fun! We're expecting a litter of Boxers and a litter of Yorkies soon (one litter at a time would be so much nicer)! Don has taken over the dog breeding so I can focus more on the house and the children. The picture above is from Caianna's baptism (Sophie - about 2 months old - is in Grandpa Conover's arms and I'm hiding behind the kids!) I'll try to post some more updated pics soon.

After a long day of dealing with dog issues and a dirty house, we decided to treat the kids tonight for FHE, so we went to Peter Piper Pizza. Savanah pitched in $10 for tokens and we bought 1 extra-large pizza (half pepperoni, half cheese). They got the order wrong, so they made us another pizza and let us have both.

While the pizza was being made, I scrubbed off our table, and got water for everyone to have with our pizza. Then I tried to get some pictures of the family playing together. I had to use the camera phone because we left Savanah's camera at home, so some of the pictures are really blurry, but they are still cute. I love how the kids enjoy their time together when we're out (and sometimes at home too)!

Don and I were going to play air hockey, but they turned off the games just as we were going to put a token in (bummer) - but that's okay, I would have won and Don would have felt bad about losing to a girl - ha!

Sunshine had her first "ride" and munched on cucumbers while the rest of us ate pizza. She tried the water too, but decided milk was much better!

They also had a little McDonald's tube thingy (no idea what it's called), that the kids ran around in, at one point Heather decided to go up and around to go down the slide where Dad was waiting for her and scared her pretty good (so funny!) After which she proceeded to hit him a few times exclaiming "It's not funny!" while we all got a pretty good laugh.

Ammon played with the basket ball game and did pretty good. Katelynn and Caianna palled around on the different rides and had a good time together.

Heather and Savanah had a good time with the games and sitting at the table thinking of funny things to say and just laughing (they are pretty funny when they get talking - so cute)!

After all was said and done, we had spent $24 for some okay pizza and some great memories!

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them!

The last of the little Shih Tzu boys for sale!
Okay, a lot has happened since I last wrote. The slide below includes pictures from Katelynn's birthday date and party, Sam's birthday date, a family outing to meet my grandpa, another family outing to Ranch Pro for dinner, and random pictures of the family from the last two weeks. We finally got all our Boxers sold (one of them is going to New York!). They all go home starting Saturday. The Shih Tzu pups are going home too. I think there's a picture of one of them in the slide. More later, I'm tired, and I've got some cleaning to do!

Now that I've updated our pictures I'll update the news too! Button and Ginger had puppies again, and our other females are in heat now, so we can expect litters from them soon too. Starting Monday we will be doing Homeschool with Grandma quite often, we're all looking forward to that. Savanah is saving the money she's earning from face painting to put toward a dog (either a Shih Tzu or Yorkie) so she can earn money for puppies to save for college or a mission. Savanah's 15th birthday is April 4th, and she's planning a party at Grandma Conover's house for this Saturday at 7:00. Katelynn will be turning 5 this April too, Sam will be 18 this April and is enjoying living with Grandma Conover and Caianna will be turning 8 in May!

Sunshine is growing a little more every day, and we all enjoy playing with her. Today has been a lazy day after church. It seems to always take us about a week to recover from the mess we made on Sunday. But we're working hard to get the Flylady program in full swing. I updated my Yorkie and Boxer websites with new photos and videos, I have new pictures on my Shih Tzu website too - I'll be adding a new video to that one soon too.

Don's business is doing better every day, he even has some clients who are signed on for his Business Coaching.

I'm going to Jazzercise on Mondays and Fridays, but hope to be going more often (I'm sick of not being able to fit in my clothes!). I've also stopped eating after 5:00, very hard with the nursing, but I'm sticking to it!

Kevin & Heather were in town with their adorable Sayler - what a cutie. Grandma, Grandpa, Sam and Julie still call Sunshine Tiffany. I wonder if they will ever get used to calling her Sunshine?

Anyway, Sunshine's hungry so gotta go!

I created Lulu's Little Tutu's website for Alisha (the owner) so now the link should be active again. Check it out! Later I'll update my blog with lots of new and interesting news of what's going on around here - I might even include a video or two!
