Easter was really fun this year. Grandma Colson sported for dresses and baskets for the kids. Saturday morning they went over to her house and opened their baskets, and later that afternoon they did their little Easter egg hunt. Later that night Sam, Heather & Savanah went out with Tina. They spent the first 15 minutes at the mall till it closed, then they went to Pete's Fish & Chips where they ate frozen yogurt, talked and turned the radio in the car up and danced around the parking lot. I think it was a hit. Tina is so cute, she loves spending time with her nieces.

Sunday morning wasn't so great, DJ one of the Shih Tzu puppies died. After a lot of research and talking with vets and others, I think we've come to the conclusion that he started going down hill due to getting vaccinated too early and his system was struggling with it. We noticed him looking a little sick on Friday, so we gave him some Grapefruit Seed Extract and he seemed to bounce back rather quickly. We should have watched him more closely. By Sunday morning it was too late. Don worked with him most of the morning to save him, but he was too far gone and died in his hands. The kids were heartbroken. They buried him in the backyard.

Later they got dressed into their new Easter outfits and went to church while I laid in bed and tried not to move - still sick. Just think, only about 6 more weeks of this, then I get to complain about being a blimp!

That night, Don and the kids went to Grandma & Grandpa Conover's house to visit with Tina & Cindy, and my mom picked me up, took me to her house and fed me. That was nice. Later, Don and the kids came to pick me up.

So there isn't much else to report except now we're cramming capsules of Oil of Oregano and Grapefruit Seed Extract down all of our dogs' throats and they don't seem to appreciate it much - can't understand why... I always love having pills crammed down my throat!

As soon as I find my camera cord, I'll upload some Easter pics. If you haven't seen them yet, check out Cindy and Tina's blogs!

Okay, it's been a while, and a lot has happened - like we're expecting a new addition in, oh, say, November! But after the last episode, I'm not getting excited until I have an ultrasound that reports a healthy, happy, growing baby!

Anyway, the new job is going well, Sam got her braces on - now I just need to put an extra 15 lbs, achene, and glasses on her and we should be safe for a few years!

The above is a picture the family thought was pretty funny. Yes, Darcy does sleep on my pillow, just not usually ON my head! No, it's not the most photo-genic one of me to be sure, but it's not like I could doll myself up before the picture.
